Silverwork Studio Editions has expanded to include a special series of hand-enhanced monochrome Giclee prints.
The debut series entitled Bamboo-series 1 consists of seven captivating and compelling still life images of bamboo.
Masterfully captured on large format black and white film by Blair Polischuk, this series is an exciting departure from his ongoing study of the West Coast landscape.
The original images for this series were photographed and printed from 4x5 inch negatives by the artist in a traditional wet darkroom.
The silver gelatin prints were then scanned at 1200 dpi and output as Monochrome Giclee Prints using Epson Ultrachrome inks on Ilford Fine Art Weave Paper.
All prints in this series have been individually inspected and embossed by the artist.
Available framed in either solid black or black with subtle gold highlights.
Float-mounted with hand-torn edges. Embossed by the artist. Artist's statement and certificate of authentication mounted on the verso.
